Rules
Welcome to the
Régates Royales 35th Edition from September 21st until
September 28th 2013, and once more, the Régates Royales –
Panerai’s Trophy team with support of the City of Cannes and the Yacht Club de
Cannes is pleased to invite you to the Official Photo Contest.
Subject :
To take pictures of the “Régates Royales’ life”
during the event, onboard or ashore. It would be
appreciate to illustrate the sport values, the conviviality and spirit of
tradition.
Competitors :
Any person from 14 years old can enter the
contest, except the previous photo contest winner and any profesional photographer. The contest is free without any purchase
obligation. Underage persons are required to present a certificate from the
person in charge and competing under the adult entire responsibility.
Conditions : 1) A unique entry form will be accepted per person, under the condition of being fully filled in. 2) A selection of maximum 3 photos by person will be accepted until Thursday, September 26th 1.00pm at the Yacht Club de Cannes booth, on the Régates Royales' Village or by email to regatesroyales@yachtclubdecannes.com. Over the deadline no additional photo will be accepted. 3) To be valid, pictures file must be numerical, under HD and JPEG formats.Modified pictures are not allowed except on the framing. Photo must be named as follow: NAME_FirstName_Number.jpg i.e: DOE_John_1.jpg.
Jury :
The jury is composed of at least 5 members who
will meet to take a decision. Among those 5 persons, there will be a Yacht Club
de Cannes member, a city advisor, a Panerai’s representative, a journalist and
photograph and guests.
The 3 best photos will be ranked and a public choice will be awarded during the Prize Giving Ceremony on Saturday, September 28th.
Prize Giving:
Prizes can’t be refund in cash or any other
exchange and can’t be given to someone else at anytime. In case of the
absence of the winner during the prize giving ceremony the award will be definitely lost.
Legal issues:
The rules of the
contest are declared to the Layer M. Nicolas, Bailiff in Cannes. You can consult
the rules at anytime on www.regatesroyales.com and can be send for free to anyone who would
ask for it at the following address : Société des Régates de Cannes – Concours photo –
Port Palm Beach – Pointe Croisette – 06400 Cannes. Rights and Image property: By entering the Régates Royales photo contest, any competitor is giving for free to the organizer the full and exclusive image rights and use on each of the submitted photo. This includes the rights to copy, deal, show, adapt and transform the photo. Network and liberty :
According to the
French Law (article 26 de la loi n°78-17 du 6 janvier 1978) about the
computering, the folders and liberty, competitors have the right of access and
change their personal data, ask for the delete of their contact information or
the secret of them. For any request, please mail to the Yacht Club de Cannes –
Concours photo – Port Palm Beach – Pointe Croisette – 06400 Cannes.
