No racing, public and social events on the docks

It never happened at the Régates Royales de Cannes, two days of no racing in a row. But the weather conditions, and especially the big swell so dangerous for such delicate yachts, forced the race organisers to keep the boats, both the classics and the Dragons, in the Vieux Port.

Another lucky day for the spectators, who crowded the quays to admire the boats and their crews, some of whom will take part to the painting contest in the afternoon.

Moreover, several owners have enthusiastically agreed to host on board a dozen sick kids from the association Sourire et Partage, who will have the unique opportunity to visit Puritan, Il Moro di Venezia, Marigold, Ninia Lusitia, Elena and Freya.
